When Elijah was at his lowest,
There he met God in an unusual way.
he went to the mountain of God.
The Lord said, ‘Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the Lord, for the Lord is about to pass by.
Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind.
After the wind there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake.
After the earthquake came a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire.
And after the fire came a דממה small voice.
When Elijah heard it, he pulled his cloak over his face and went out and stood at the mouth of the cave. Then a voice said to him, ‘What are you doing here, Elijah?’
1. Kings 19. 11-13
God revealed himself in a new way and showed that He is more than all the elements, He is transcendent.

About shema
The Hebrew word Shema means “to listen” — not just to hear, but to pay attention and respond with an open heart. It reminds us to listen for God’s voice and the wisdom found in His Word.
Each Shema collection is inspired by a message from Scripture. The simple, thoughtful designs are created to spark curiosity and open up meaningful conversations — gentle reminders to share faith through everyday moments.
Behind Shema is me, Michaël — a young creative from the Bern region. My hope has been to build a brand that reflects the Good News, both through design and through the way each piece is made.
